NEWS FLASH!!!

Friday was my birthday. I worked all day, came home, cleaned out Allie’s stall, took her out to graze in the back yard for a little while, (I told my son I was mowing the lawn), then went inside to get my wallet. I told the guys that I needed to go to Tractor Supply for some stuff to make Allie’s stall smell better.

Tommy said that he was taking me out to dinner for my birthday. We left around 6:30. Had a wonderful dinner and came home. We got home around 9 pm. I went out to give Allie her dinner only to find my barn in total disarray. Things had been knocked over and off the wall. I went in to see if Allie was alright only to discover that my birthday was not over!!! Allie gave me the best birthday present ever!!! A bouncing baby filly!!!!!

We have not yet decided on a name, but the name needs to begin with either W, X, Y, or Z. Please feel free to email name suggestions to me.

This little girl has the wonderful LONG legs of her daddy, a short cobby body, and just the most darling face!

Nanning 374 x Allie Bouwina

Born on June 29th, 2007, this lovely young lady has been named Zhaana.

In the typical fashion of the young, everything is new and exciting. Zhaana is curious, friendly, bold, courageous and overflowing with the boundless energy of all young things. She is inquisitive and loves to explore everything. Zhaana is slowly learning the things she will need to know in life, such as how to have her feet picked up and cleaned out, and how to stand still for a few minutes at a time. She is learning her name and how to come when she is called. Recently, Zhaana has endearingly learned from her fabulous mother, Allie, to nicker when Tabitha comes out to the barn or pasture.

On September 25th 2007, we went to White Pine Tennessee to attend the 2007 Keuring. Zhaana behaved wonderfully. The judges from Holland loved her and awarded her a 2nd Premium!

Well isn't she growning  into a beautiful young lady?
